Nope - I think it's most likely a bug in STRICQ. I've experienced the
same problem with some users too - often it messes STRICQ up completely,
so I have to restart it. I've also noticed that things that used to work
now don't, like adding new users (it works sometimes, but more often than
not it doesn't). It worked fine with the same STRICQ version earlier this
year. Seems like some changes to the ICQ network network have been made
that break STRICQ.
Also, I recently discovered a problem communicating with somebody who uses
micq - only some of my messages would get through when using STRICQ, and
likewise, I was only receiving some of the sender's messages. At least
half of the messages got delivered down a black hole or something. I now
have to use the Amiga port of micq to communicate with this user (all
messages now get through fine). Maybe using micq will solve the problem
you mention too.
